About Grace Molloy

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

I have always been a naturally curious and empathetic person who loves to engage and connect with others. This carried into my studies and professional work where I became passionate about the human brain, behavioural patterns and mental health. As a psychologist I aim to utilise my own traits of openness, warmth and being an attentive listener to provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals to feel supported and understood. Previous to this role I worked therapeutically with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for 3 years. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan and have experience working with differing psychological presentations across a range of community settings.

How I help

My work currently entails supporting clients with therapeutic, assessment and diagnostic services. As everyone is different, I use a person-centred and strengths-based approach, which involves open collaboration between myself and the client. I offer evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual’s unique needs, as a result providing strategies to overcome challenges, develop coping strategies and achieve their goals. Some of the evidence-based strategies I draw from are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness. I am passionate about providing comprehensive care that respects each client’s individuality and promotes their overall wellbeing.

Why I’m here

I am inspired by the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where diversity is embraced, and every client’s journey is unique. Collaborating with a warm, welcoming and passionate team dedicated to providing a high standard of mental health services enables me to make a meaningful difference in clients lives.
